Technology Brokerage, a Key Division of the firm and one of two primary entry points of technology for licensing, the division acquires technologies for licensing and has the business of licensing technologies and assess the state of the technologies for deciding on the best type of licensing: Direct Licensing, Adoption Brokering Pool Brokering, and Adopter Brokerage. As part of the Brokerage services, Enhance Knowledge also provides the licensing part, through the management of royalty payments. The company in some listing are mandated to also collect the royalties and then relay the funds to the Developer.

The Division scouts and solicits technology developers and also accepts queries for servicing as the agent for technology brokerage. The Division has dedicated scouts always on the look out for new technologies that may be ripe for brokering. The division also sometimes pre-broker a new technology by securing funding for the technologies in various forms.

In the context of Technology Brokerage, the owner or listee of the technology whether for sale or license is the Developer, and Enhance Knowledge serves as the Licensor. In the capacity of the Licensor acting on behalf of the Developer, Enhance Knowledge provides several services as part of its Technology Brokerage. All services, however, are aimed at enabling a licensing or sales of the listed technology of the listee.

Marketing services
Besides being listed in the various technology exchanges, the company also assigns the broker services of each technology to one its exceptional well-trained and technology savvy Technology IP Brokering Specialists, who actually undertake the brokering of each specific technology, are quite knowledgeable in the field in which they are assigned the task of brokerage of the assigned technology. These savvy brokers then access the various potential technology adopters and sell the technology by elicitation of the use to the prospect.

Technology Licensing Brokering
Often because our sales teams are quite vested in the specific technology as well as the business end of the use of the technology and hence the associated advantages, we are able to negotiate favourable terms for all the parties involved: the Licensee, and the Developer.

Technology Acquisitions & Transfers
Occasionally, the acquisition of a Technology IP is not feasible possibly because the technology is still adopted implicitly, and needs to be formally engineered by a Technology Development Company for the benefit of the prospective Licensee. In those circumstances, Enhance Knowledge brokers the Merger and Acquisition (M&A) of the operating company owning the technology for merger into the prospective Licensee company.

Recognizing that most developers may not know the niceties of the aspects of Intellectual Property listing that can be made, Enhance Knowledge generally takes the time to inform the developer of the scope of available IP underlying the technology, and such process takes quite sometime before the developer feels comfortable with the differences.
