Adoption Brokerage, Key Division of the firm,
and one of two primary entry points of technology for licensing,... The
Division acquires technologies both from developers and from the Technology
Brokerage Division, and causes development of the technologies engages the
firms partners to develop vertical-derivative deployment ready technology
which it brokers to adopters. These services are, of course, reflected in
one form or another in the structuring of the Technology Licensing
Agreement. The Division has dedicated
scouts always on the look out for new technologies that may be ripe for
brokering.
Application
Viability
Not wanting to have licensed
technologies bundled up and motballed somewhere and not deployed
while royalty payments are expected, every agreement has an
explicitly stated Deployment Grace Period over which time span the
technology must be deployed otherwise the Licence declared cancelled
by default and all funds paid declared as forfeit and the complete
adoption package declared abandoned.
